Desian Education is partnering with a warm and inclusive primary school in Wavertree to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. You’ll provide vital support to a Reception-aged pupil with Autism, helping them flourish in a nurturing classroom environment.
???�?About the Role:
* Work one-to-one with a Reception pupil with Autism, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
* Deliver structured interventions to support the child’s learning, communication, and social skills.
* Assist in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
* Prepare resources and adapt activities to foster engagement and independence.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
�?About You:
* Prior experience supporting children with Autism or in an SEN setting (preferred).
* Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to meeting individual needs.
* Strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills.
* Passionate about early years education and inclusive practice.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable.
