Overview
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Bookkeeper into their team on a part time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
* Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and reconcile bank statements
* VAT returns
* Reconciling Accounts
* Proactively chasing outstanding arrears and payments
* Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
* Collaborate with the management to create and manage budgets
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
* Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
* Have previous experience from a similar role
* Have a Proof of completed training as an accountant
* Have a good understanding of Accounting
* Have good IT and finance system skills, as well as good MS Excel skills
* Possess excellent communication and attention to detail skills
