Job Responsibilities
1. Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered, ready for delivery to their doorsteps, or providing brilliant substitutions when products are out of stock.
2. Using a handset that plans your route around the store, indicating what you need to select and how long you have to complete each shop.
3. Handling customer queries, processing orders, and assisting with loading vans for our Home Delivery Drivers.
4. Serving customers proactively, supporting with questions, and offering help to ensure a great shopping experience.
5. Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to make helpful recommendations.
6. Working flexibly across the store as required, with early morning starts (most shifts begin at 4am), in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment. You may work alone or as part of a team.
7. Being friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
8. Enjoying a fast-paced, physical environment, using initiative to solve problems, and taking responsibility for tasks.
9. Willing to learn new digital tools and technology, and capable of moving shopping containers weighing up to 15kg.
10. Maintaining attention to detail by keeping the store clean and clutter-free, creating the best shopping experience. Must be above the school-leaver age; if shifts start earlier than 6am or end later than 11pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
