About the client
ATA are supporting a large manufacturing group at one of their flagship sites in the East Peterborough area. The group who operates within the industrial sector have multiple sites across the UK, employ over 2000 staff and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. The site has been a long-standing part of the community for a number of years and produces an iconic product.
This role would suit maintenance electricians, who have strong knowledge within an industrial sector.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on heavy and automated plant machinery, including, robotics, presses, hydraulics, rotating equipment and more.
* Electrical fault finding using various methods (Electrical drawings, PLC, Multimeter)
* Swapping out electrical components and electrical improvement work.
* Utilising the Piranha CMMS.
The company are working towards making the site more efficient so are adopting LEAN manufacturing processes on site, therefor you will be involved project work and making production improvements to achieve TPM.
About you
To be considered for this maintenance electrician role you should be/have the following:
* Experience working within a factory environment.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of maintenance within panels.
* Be comfortable working in an industrial or heavy environment.
* Strong knowledge of H&S
* You should hold a recognised level 3 (or above) Electrical qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
* 18TH Edition (Beneficial)
