* Teach a KS3 class of students with a range of special educational needs (including autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH)
* Develop and deliver an individualized curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and abilities of students
* Use a variety of engaging teaching strategies to support learning and encourage progress
* Foster an inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons and interventions as needed
* Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student
* Provide regular feedback to parents and carers, ensuring open communication about student development
Experience & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching KS3 students in a special educational needs setting, or experience working with SEN students
* Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and experience in differentiating the curriculum to meet individual needs
* A patient, creative, and flexible approach to teaching
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS check required
