Horton Housing are currently recruiting for a permanent full time Team Leader to support our Bradford Temporary Accommodation scheme.The successful Team Leader will assist the Service Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the service.The post holder will supervise and guide a team of housing officers and housing support workers to deliver housing related support and ensure the people we support receive a holistic, strength based, personalised service.In return you will be eligible for 6 weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays) and access to the Horton Housing Employee Assistance Programme. Essential criteria to be considered for this role: Experience in a support environment with an ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop colleagues. Experience of working in a support based setting/service Experience of strong partnership working including liaising and working closely with a range of housing providers, support services, statutory and non-statutory agencies. Knowledge and understanding of issues facing people and/or families who have faced issues such as homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, mental and physical health related issues. Evidence of vocational training and/or professional development in relevant skills for the post (e.g. housing, mental health, welfare benefits).
