Family Lawyer – Barnstaple
We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ years PQE) to join our growing Private Family team in North Devon.

You will manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on matrimonial finance, alongside broader private family matters including divorce, separation, cohabitation issues, private children law and pre and post nuptial work.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a mixed caseload of high quality private family matters
* Take responsibility for complex matrimonial finance cases, including high value and multi asset matters
* Advising clients with sensitivity, clarity, and commercial awareness
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to the growth and profile of the department
* Supervising junior fee earners
About You
* 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law (solicitor or legal executive)
* Strong technical expertise in both financial remedy and children law preferred
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team culture
* A commitment to delivering exceptional service
* A desire to play an active part in the marketing and progression of the department.
