We are Active Care Group, the leading provider of complex care. Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries to live independently in their own homes.
We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker in Broughton.
What you'll be doing:
* This role involves supporting our male client with a spinal cord injury and airway management within his own home.
* You will support the client in their home with personal care (including washing, dressing, and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
When you'll be working:
* 3 to 4 shifts per week
* 12-hour days or waking nights
* Regular, consistent work with set rolling rotas
* Zero-hours contracts
* You must commit to working regularly each month to ensure continuity of care for our clients.
What you'll have:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Experience with spinal cord injury
* Our client requires support with driving; therefore, you must hold a full UK driver's license
* Kind and caring nature
* Flexibility and reliability—continuity of care is imperative for our clients
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
What to look forward to:
* Up to £14 per hour, depending on NVQ HSC qualification and experience, on a zero-hour contract
* Regular, consistent work with set rolling rotas
* 25 days of annual leave (pro-rata)
