CAD Engineer
Location: Worcester
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week | Full-time, Permanent
The Company
Our client is a specialist manufacturer based in Worcester, delivering bespoke workspace and furniture solutions to a range of commercial and industrial sectors across the UK. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, they combine precision design with high-quality production to create tailored products for a diverse customer base.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a CAD Engineer to join their design and production team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven CAD professional to play a key role in supporting bespoke manufacturing projects. Working closely with project, production, and installation teams, you will produce accurate technical drawings and ensure designs are practical, efficient, and delivered within agreed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications
* Interpret client briefs, architectural drawings, and project requirements
* Support the design and development of bespoke manufactured products
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
* Contribute to continuous design improvements and problem-solving throughout projects
The Person
* Previous experience in a CAD Engineer or similar design role preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or bespoke product design advantageous
