Powered Access Engineer – Full Time Location: Castleford Industry: Powered Access / Plant Hire / Equipment Hire Competitive Salary (To be discussed upon application) We are looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join a fast-growing, well-established hire business. If you have strong engineering skills and enjoy working with powered access equipment, this is an excellent permanent opportunity with great benefits and no weekend work. What You’ll Do Service, repair and maintain powered access machines (boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.) Troubleshoot and fault-find on hydraulic systems, electric motors and diesel engines Carry out routine servicing and pre-delivery inspections Complete major and minor repairs, including refurbishments Estimate repair and damage costs accurately Maintain clear, accurate service and maintenance records Work to daily job schedules and quality standards set by depot management What We’re Looking For Required: IPAF licence CAP Certification Full Clean UK Manual Driving Licence Strong powered access or plant hire engineering experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a calm, professional approach High standards of workmanship and pride in keeping machines in excellent condition Commitment to safe working practices Hours Monday to Friday No Saturdays or weekend work What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) 25 days holiday 8 statutory (33 total) 2 extra days holiday after 5 years Weekly pay Company van Free tool hire (excluding consumables and delivery) Group life cover (3× annual salary) Wellbeing services and employee support Employee referral scheme Pension scheme Full uniform provided Discounted personal legal services Why Apply?
