Founded in 2023, our start-up company has seen rapid growth within 2 years. It's an exciting time at Bolt as we are looking to expand our fast growing team.
Our diverse team, comprising of doctors, prescribing pharmacists, customer support advisors, marketing experts and web developers and more collaborate to develop and maintain an innovative digital healthcare platform. This platform is crafted to fit seamlessly with our patients, offering tailored healthcare solutions.
Duties
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:
* Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess medical histories, lifestyle factors, and suitability for GLP-1 receptor agonist medicines for weight loss.
* Prescribe GLP-1 weight loss medicines in line with evidence-based guidelines, ensuring safe and effective treatment tailored to individual patient needs.
* Monitor patient progress regularly, managing and adjusting medicines as needed while providing ongoing support to optimise treatment outcomes.
* Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits, quality improvement, and service development to enhance patient care standards.
* Educate patients on medicine use, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to support sustained weight loss and health improvements.
* Act as a key point of contact for clinical queries, ensuring patient safety and prompt resolution of any medicine-related issues.
Training and support will be provided.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Registration with the GPhC.
* Prescribing Qualification.
* Previous experience in prescribing preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
