Base pay range
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our busy property team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing solicitors with administrative tasks, client communications, and case management, ensuring smooth and efficient property transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors, including drafting letters, emails, and legal documents.
* Managing client files and maintaining accurate records.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other relevant parties.
* Assisting with the preparation and completion of property transactions.
* Handling post‑completion documentation and following up on outstanding matters.
* Managing diary appointments, scheduling meetings, and supporting workflow within the team.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within a conveyancing or property team.
* Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and terminology is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
