Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge for a Deputy Director of Development at Wolfson College. The Deputy Director will assist in planning and implementing the College's fundraising strategy, managing donor relationships, and working on planned giving, annual giving, and philanthropic initiatives. The role will also involve managing budgets, identifying fundraising opportunities, and collaborating with various stakeholders to secure financial support for College programs and capital projects.
Qualifications
* Expertise in major gift fundraising
* Experience of Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Proactive and strategic thinking capabilities
* Proficiency in managing donor databases and fundraising tools is advantageous
* Understanding of higher education fundraising is a plus
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
