We are seeking an inspiring Food and Beverage Manager to lead the dining experience at a vibrant East London hotel. This restaurant is the heart of the property: fresh, seasonal, and creative, with everything cooked in-house and menus that change regularly to keep things exciting for guests.
Salary: Up to A GBP 53,000
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the F and B team to deliver exceptional service
* Champion a fresh food ethos, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure menu excellence
* Drive operational efficiency while keeping the guest experience at the forefront
* Support innovation and consistency, ensuring standards remain high as the menu evolves
* Manage budgets related to food, beverage, and staffing costs
* Set and monitor departmental goals, schedules, and procedures
* Conduct monthly stock takes and manage inventory
* Motivate and incentivise team members to drive sales and performance
* Conduct performance reviews and development plans for managers
* Support interdepartmental cooperation and uphold safety standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in food and beverage management or supervisory roles
* Strong financial acumen and ability to meet targets
* High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
* Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
