Role Responsibilities
* Drive internal PPM improvements using iDT&R (Internal Defect Tracking & Resolution)
* Drive external PPM improvements using CDT&R (Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution)
* Maintain and update value stream quality systems using standard APQP tools.
* Lead quality‑related Kaizen events for your respective value stream.
* Collaborate with manufacturing to reduce scrap for your respective value stream.
Essential Qualifications
* Engineering degree (or equivalent) or recognized engineering apprenticeship program.
* Proven background in quality engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing).
* Experience with APQP core tools in both development and maintenance.
* Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments).
* Experienced in Root Cause/Corrective Action process.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using Six Sigma tools.
* ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.
