Software Developer – C# .NETLocation: Wellingborough, EnglandContract: 6-month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £39,000 – £46,000 Per Annum
We’re looking for a Software Developer with strong C#, .NET, and web development skills to join a global engineering and logistics company on a 6-month FTC. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, international projects and deliver innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle.
You’ll be maintaining and developing high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core
* Design and build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
* Convert business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions
* Create test cases, perform software testing, and integrate subsystems into larger systems
* Write and maintain technical documentation and ensure high-quality, maintainable code
* Collaborate with international teams on key projects and provide technical support when required
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript)
* Skilled in building responsive, cross-browser compatible applications
* Strong database knowledge (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB) and understanding of REST APIs
* Familiarity with CI/CD practices, design patterns, and clean coding principles
* Experience with JIRA and source control tools (GitHub, GitLab)
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Willingness to travel occasionally
