Digital Systems Manager
£24.41 per hour | Lisburn HQ | 36.25 hrs per week | Up to 6‑month contract (possible extension)
We are recruiting an experienced Digital Systems Manager to join the IT Department at Lisburn HQ. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of Line of Business (LOB) IT systems including Finance, HR, Fleet, Prevention & Protection, Operational and Technical applications. You will deliver specialist technical expertise, system improvements, and high‑quality support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage, support and develop a broad range of IT Line of Business systems.
2. Lead on system upgrades, change management, releases and project delivery.
3. Oversee system incidents, service requests and supplier engagement, ensuring SLAs are met.
4. Maintain system infrastructure including hardware, software, licensing and security.
5. Analyse user requirements, design and support complex IT solutions.
6. Deliver staff training and ensure documentation and processes remain up to date.
7. Support strategic planning, business cases, tenders and long-term IT planning.
8. Drive continuous system improvement and recommend new technologies.
9. Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to IT staff.
10. Ensure compliance with governance, data protection and organisational policies.
11. Act as primary contact in the absence of the Head of IT and support Business Continuity/DR.
Essential Criteria
Option 1:
12. Degree in ICT, Computing, Systems Development (or similar)
13. 2+ years’ experience in a Systems Manager role
OR
Option 2:
14. HND in ICT, Computing, Systems Development (or similar)
15. 3+ years’ experience in a Systems Manager role
OR
Option 3:
16. 5+ years’ experience working as a Systems Manager (experience-based route)
