This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in learning. As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require guidance, helping them develop coping strategies, confidence, and positive behaviours in school. Key Duties: Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils as a Behaviour Support/Mentor. Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans. Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions. Build trusting relationships with pupils to support their personal development. Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff. Essential Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs. A calm, patient, and resilient approach. Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. Ability to manage challenging situations effectively. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
