ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working as a technician for an ambitious and growing company who don’t settle for anything less than excellence. Like all engineers, you will use your knowledge of science and mathematics to develop real-world solutions. You will ill provide expert guidance and assistance to clients for planning, design and construction challenges.
Your responsibilities will include
1. Feasibility Studies:
Mapping out the feasibility of a project, including timescales, equipment and costings.
2. Project Planning:
Designing a project including processes, risk assessments, staffing and other requirements.
Projects will include Foundations, Drainage, Roads, Feasibility Studies, Traffic and Transport, and Technical Support to Expert Witnesses. You will be an all-round engineer who is keen to learn and ambitious in their career. Their projects are all over the UK and your role will involve the technical design aspect of drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, pre and post-planning, micro drainage, on and off-site civils works, and 278 works.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be working in a team of 4 and will be based in the Manchester office 5 days a week so you will need to be based in Manchester or the surrounding areas. You will have an engineering degree and will need to have around 5 years of experience.
