The Role;
Sourcing and acquiring goods, services, and equipment for the company by negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, overseeing the purchasing team, and monitoring the quality and cost-effectiveness of procured items.
Responsibilities;
Liasing with wholesalers to get quotes and ensuring that the items are within budget and to the correct specification.
Liasing with the contract managers and lead electricians to make sure that orders are delivered to site within the deadline.
Keeping up to date with product innovation and value engineering alternatives.
Manage specialist suppliers to ensure that they meet our procurement requirements.
Monthly reporting to larger customers.
Look to develop our sustainability reporting.
This role is for a highly organised, computer literate individual with good communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
Electrical knowlege is very desirable.
Experience of Sage 50 is advantageous.
