Job Summary
Execute the Kroger Company’s space management and assortment process for assigned categories through planogram development. Implement “Customer 1st” shelf strategies and targeted metrics to enhance the shopping experience. Positively and measurably impact the Kroger Company’s sales/margins by providing accurate placement and allocation for all items.
Essential Job Functions
* This hybrid position requires working in our Corporate Office at least two days per week based on your team’s schedule.
* Develop expertise in assortment and planogram development to help Kroger reach sales goals and objectives.
* Utilize data from syndicated sources such as 84.51 and IRI to support category objectives.
* Learn and operate JDA/Blue Yonder software for planogram development.
* Assist in quality assurance before and after planogram publishing for each category update.
* Execute all steps of the KOMPASS process; develop efficiencies and contribute to presentation creation, project tracking, etc.
* Implement category assortment and flow changes in our model store.
* Communicate with internal and external departments to execute planograms as needed.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications
* 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Degree in Business, Statistics, or Marketing preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience working in a corporate office environment.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
* Highly motivated self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task.
Minimum Physical Abilities
* Remain standing or sitting for several hours.
* Lift 10-30 lbs. occasionally.
