The Lenham School is an OFSTED GOOD school with an exciting opportunity to join our successful Team. We are currently recruiting for a new post - Reading Intervention Mentor and Librarian to support with reading engagement, fluency, comprehension, across the secondary school. If you are passionate about working in a dynamic team to provide inclusive support, contributing to all students achieving their academic potential, we would love to hear from you.

Drive and passion will be essential prerequisites for a successful application.

We are a dedicated, collaborative team of professionals who enjoy welcoming new staff, new ideas and fresh input. Opportunities, including career progression, are actively sought for all staff across the school. Collaboration with like-minded colleagues across the Multi-Academy Trust (VIAT) is set up to provide networking, support, quality assurance and friendship.

The closing date is 12 noon on Friday, 27 February 2026 however, please note the Trust has the right to appoint at any point before the closing date. Interviews are available immediately, so we welcome early applications, which will be reviewed continuously.

Posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. As part of the shortlisting process, the Trust reserves the right to conduct an online search on shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence and any relevant information found concerning a candidate's suitability to work with children will be discussed.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
