We require an experience manager to over see two teams, Shared lives and Outreach. Direct line managing 3 team leaders. The ideal candidate would have experience of support adults with learning disabilities. We have a small shared lives scheme that provide family homes for vulnerable adults, and an outreach team that supports adults maximise their independence. The team have gone through changes and need strong leadership and support. auditing skills and strong IT skills
Purpose of the Role:
To provide comprehensive leadership and management to the Adult Placement Scheme and Outreach Team, in delivering high quality placements, care and support to our customers
Allocate resources to ensure best value in delivering services.
To ensure H&S and other legislation and best practice is adhered to

⦁ Staff are recruited, trained, supervised and efficiently organised to provide a high-quality service

Skills and Competencies

Essential:
1. Proven ability of managing staff within a CQC registered service
2. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing, including report writing, negotiating and excellent IT skills
3. Ability to plan and maximise use of resources as well as manage a budget effectively
4. Ability of implementing the highest standards of H & S including risk management within the various work environments
5. Experience of allocating resources to ensure best use and value
6. Ability to work in partnership with staff and external teams to ensure a smooth cohesive service is delivered
7. Ability to work using own initiative as part of a team while managing workload efficiently, prioritising work for the team and adopting a flexible approach to changing and competing demands
8. Ability to structure work routines to ensure all performance indicators for the service are met
Desirable:
9. Experience of carrying out minor building works
10. Previous experience of working with IT systems within a social care setting
Experience and Knowledge
11. Experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting with a range of adults with different levels of needs
12. Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and guidance that underpin the service
13. Extensive knowledge of resources to support the provision of enablement to promote independence (e.g. Telecare, equipment and other interventions)
14. Experience of recruitment, managing staff including allocation of work, performance management and staff development.
15. Previous experience of meeting provider registration requirements
Essential Qualification(s)
16. NVQ/QCF level 4 or equivalent
