We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Response Programme Delivery Manager to join the Central Control Team at Yorkshire Water, helping us provide excellent service to our customers. Could this be you?
What We Do: Yorkshire Water serves over 5.4 million people, ensuring access to clean water and wastewater services. We protect communities, the environment, and plan for sustainable water management in Yorkshire, 24/7, 365 days a year. We are currently leading a transformative program, the SEMD Enhancement PR24, funded with £19 million, focusing on resilience, emergency response, and innovation.
Where You Fit In: As our Emergency Response Programme Delivery Manager, you will:
* Lead and motivate a team to deliver the SEMD enhancement program effectively
* Develop SEMD awareness and capability through workshops and stakeholder engagement
* Support audits and embed lessons learned
* Manage process design across workstreams
* Identify and mitigate risks
* Manage budgets and monitor costs
* Ensure benefits realization and stakeholder communication
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
* Experience with procurement and contract management for infrastructure investments
* Pragmatic approach with results focus
* Strong negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience managing high-value programs
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
