About the Centre
Essex and Suffolk Elective Orthopaedic Centre (ESEOC) is a state‑of‑the‑art facility opened at the end of 2024, specialising in elective orthopaedic surgery and day cases. With eight laminar flow theatres, three wards, recovery facilities, and comprehensive support services, ESEOC is positioned to be one of the largest centres of its kind in Europe.
Position: Orthopaedic Physiotherapist
We are looking for a physiotherapist to join the orthopaedic physiotherapy team. The service runs 7 days a week with extended hours 08:00–20:00 on six days. Applicants must be able to commit to a varied shift pattern consisting of early and late shifts, or predominantly long days.
Responsibilities
* Gain experience and develop skills and knowledge in orthopaedic physiotherapy within the acute setting.
* Contribute to the orthopaedic physiotherapy pathways.
* Manage own caseload of patients, seeking advice and problem‑solving from senior staff when required.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in ESEOC to contribute to the care of elective patients.
