I am recruiting an Aftersales Manager for a well-known, family-run dealership in the Greater Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on professional to lead the aftersales operation and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience up to £75K
Hours : 40 hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm - and alternate Saturday 8.30am - 1.30pm
Role Overview:
As the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the service and parts teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximise satisfaction, and drive departmental performance. You will ensure that service standards are consistently met, issues are resolved efficiently, and opportunities for additional business are identified and acted upon.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a first-class aftersales experience, ensuring customers receive exceptional service.
Maintain proactive communication with existing customers to monitor satisfaction and identify opportunities for further business.
Monitor departmental performance against budgets and targets, implementing strategies to improve results where needed.
Provide coaching, guidance, and appraisals for the Service team, promoting a proactive and forward-thinking culture.
Encourage staff to identify additional business opportunities through briefings, systems, and incentives.
Oversee recruitment, selection, training, and development of new and existing staff.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, procedures, and regulations at all times.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment for the team and customers.

Proven experience in a similar Aftersales or Service Manager role within the motor trade.
Hands-on, practical leadership style, willing to support the team directly when required.
Ambitious, target-driven leader with a history of exceeding objectives.
Skilled in coaching, motivating, and developing a team to reach their full potential.
Customer-focused with a commitment to maintaining a customer-centric culture.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Innovative mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas to drive performance.
Full and valid UK driving licence.
