An opportunity has arisen for a friendly, motivated and reliable individual to take on the role of Clinical Support Secretary to the Community Mental Health Team in West Fife.
Responsibilities
* Deliver robust and efficient administration support to the developing West Fife Community Mental Health Team.
* Directly support the Community Mental Health Team, including medical secretaries, team lead, nurses and medical staff at Queen Margaret Hospital.
* Support the wider administration team to ensure delivery of essential digital services for patient contact, including NHS Near Me and the Community Mental Health Team Duty Line System.
* Attend in‑house training opportunities for personal development and ongoing learning.
* Provide cover for holidays/illness and, often at short notice, travel between Dunfermline and Cupar to support the wider CMHT sectors across Fife.
Qualifications
* Education to equivalent of Standard Grade or relevant experience.
* Good communication, excellent organisation, numerical and listening skills.
* Computer literate with excellent typing skills and previous secretarial experience, including audio typing/digital dictation.
* Knowledge and experience of Patient Administration Systems is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

Other Information
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
