TMM are supporting an energy service company with the recruitment of a Credit Controller on a permanent basis to ensure effective financial transaction processing.Demonstrable credit control experience is essential.You’ll be results-orientated, tactful and resilient, maintaining a good working relationship with customers, ensuring a professional, methodical approach.
Your duties will include:
* Pursing customers for overdue payments.
* Dealing with customer queries and ensuring appropriate action is taken to ensure timely payments.
* Raising credit notes as appropriate and liaising with Account Managers and Operations Department.
* Following up on large value invoices ensuring the customer has received invoice and payment has been processed prior to invoice due date to ensure minimise payments delays.
* Reviewing and maintaining stop list, letters, and statements.
* Assisting with processing of periodic, special invoices or self-billing accounts, uploading and monitoring invoices via customer portals.
* Setting up new customer accounts and assessing creditworthiness of new customer accounts and ensuring periodic monitoring against average and maximum spend.
* Assisting with implementing performance measures for credit control function.
* Looking for opportunities to improve cashflow and suggesting continuous improvement ideas.
