About The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning firm of solicitors based in Sheffield. This well-established and respected practice is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of its busy legal office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys varied tasks, and has excellent IT and communication skills. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining efficient office systems and delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to legal and professional teams across departments
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring professional responses
Maintain diaries, book appointments, and coordinate meetings
Prepare, format, and distribute documents, letters, and reports accurately
Maintain case management systems and electronic filing structures
Ensure accurate data entry and management of client records
Organise incoming and outgoing mail, including DX (Document Exchange) and courier services
Assist with GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality protocols
Communicate with clients in person, via phone, and email in a professional manner
Support client onboarding and case file preparation
Undertake occasional errands, including off-site deliveries (driving licence required)
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
used legal software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident and professional telephone manner
Ability to manage workload independently and work well in a team
Full, clean UK driving licence (access to a vehicle is desirable)
