Hours: Full-time, fixed term until 31 March 2026 Salary : £24,570 per annum (depending on experience) The team You will be part of our Renewables team, working on the Energy Redress scheme. The team manages funding that helps charities and organisations support people in vulnerable situations, improve energy efficiency, and deliver projects that cut carbon and tackle fuel poverty. We are a supportive and collaborative team with a strong focus on accuracy, fairness and impact. Working with us means you will directly contribute to ensuring that vital grant funding reaches the organisations and communities that need it most. The role As a Programme Administrator, you will play an important role in making sure that our grant funding is managed efficiently and fairly. Your work will focus on financial administration, carrying out checks on grant claims, and supporting colleagues with key processes that help charities and community groups deliver life-changing projects. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Youll be helping to process claims, manage data, prepare documents for funding panels and ensure we meet the highest standards in administration and reporting. What youll do Carry out checks on grant claims to make sure they meet our criteria, following up with applicants and colleagues as needed. Support the application process, including preparing panel packs, drafting grant offers, and gathering due diligence information. Help keep our administrative systems, databases and financial records accurate and up to date. Provide programme support including preparing for audits, collating information for funders, and monitoring project data. Respond to enquiries and provide excellent customer service to applicants and stakeholders. What youll bring Strong administration and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow clear processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of providing excellent customer service. Confidence working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
