Role: Logistics & Sales Administrator Location : Pool in Wharfedale Salary: £29,000 pa Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm. 40 hours per week About the Role Our client, a long established global specialist manufacturer based in Pool in Wharfedale, is seeking an experienced and self motivated Logistics & Sales Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and proactive service to customers, ensuring that orders, enquiries and deliveries are processed efficiently and in line with company standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service / Logistics Administrator: Respond to customer enquiries efficiently, ensuring clear and timely communication. Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely fulfilment. Arrange transportation for outbound shipments in line with customer specifications. Issue order acknowledgements to customers within agreed timeframes. Maintain accurate and up to date data across all relevant IT systems. Liaise with planning and other internal departments to provide updates on order status. Generate despatch notes as required to support timely deliveries. Proactively escalate any issues to minimise disruption to the customer and the business. Ensure all compliance and shipping documentation is accurate and complete. Raise and issue customer invoices as required. Regularly review open orders to ensure timely despatch and minimise stockholding. Approve invoices for payment. Skills & Experience Required for the Logistics & Sales Administrator: Proven experience in customer service and administration, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in logistics, transport or supply chain is preferred. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and external customers. A proactive approach to problem solving with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
