Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Water)
We are recruiting multiple Senior Electrical Design Engineers (Water) for major frameworks across the UK, including a significant £100 million framework with United Utilities to improve river health in Northwest England.
Join RPS Water Consulting, a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts working on Asset Management and Operational Strategy for water industry clients. This role offers opportunities to work on innovative projects, develop your career, and leave a lasting impact on the water industry.
Your Responsibilities include:
* Delivering projects meeting technical, legislative, safety, and environmental standards.
* Developing innovative technical solutions based on client needs.
* Leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
* Supporting design and advisory services for water and wastewater assets.
* Producing detailed electrical designs, calculations, and reports.
* Managing project delivery using digital design techniques.
* Mentoring team members.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience in process plant systems within water projects.
* Hands-on experience in water/wastewater projects.
* Proficiency in digital design.
* Leadership skills in technical teams.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
* Chartered status or working towards it.
* Membership with IET, InstMC, CIWEM, or similar.
