About Us:
We are a dynamic Managing General Agent (MGA) based in the vibrant city of Leeds, in the heart of the north of England. We specialise in providing bespoke insurance solutions in property and casualty, as well as specialty lines. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Pricing Director to join our team and lead our pricing function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement innovative pricing strategies for our diverse portfolio of insurance products.
2. Lead and mentor a team of talented actuaries and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
3. Manage large, complex projects and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
4. Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and loss experience to inform strategic pricing decisions.
5. Collaborate with underwriters, claims teams, and other stakeholders to optimise pricing models and enhance profitability.
Experience:
6. Relevant Sector Experience: Significant experience in property and casualty, and specialty lines is crucial.
7. Pricing Experience: Demonstrated experience in pricing insurance products, including the development and implementation of new pricing strategies.
Skills:
8. Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
9. Strong project management experience, capable of handling large, complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
10. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field.
11. Professional Qualifications: Insurance/Actuarial qualification or equivalent experience.
