Digital Design Director / Creative Director Clientside Up to £100K London/Hybrid The Company My client is a global leader in the online learning and immersive education space. They are now looking for a Digital Design Director (or Creative Director) to join them. The Role You’ll be a highly innovative and strategic leader who will be the driving force in setting the creative vision and shaping a strong brand presence online. You’ll have slick skills in digital design, video and motion. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can effortlessly combine your digital design excellence with amazing brand storytelling. Responsibilities Creative Leadership & Visual Storytelling Define and execute the creative direction for video ensuring a bold and engaging brand presence and compelling creative assets. Be a brand builder and storyteller: Championing the brand, evolving brand guidelines and storytelling. Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and business objectives into creative strategies and assets that resonate globally across digital channels. Oversee the end-to-end video production process, from concept to execution, ensuring best-in-class storytelling whether that’s in-house or working with agencies and freelancers. Creative Execution Execute with Excellence: Oversee the production of visually compelling marketing materials, motion graphics, and digital experiences that elevate the brand. Work closely with external agencies and internal teams to bring creative campaigns to life on time and within budget. With a focus on video but not limited to photography and graphic design. You’ll ideally have experience with Storyblok to design and deliver scalable, high-impact digital content across different markets. Leadership & Collaboration Be a leading voice: Inspire, lead, and mentor a team of designers, video producers, and content creators, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. Advocate for creative thinking across the organization, influencing key stakeholders to prioritize bold, high-quality storytelling. Drive collaboration across departments: Partner closely with senior leadership and key functions (E.g. Paid Media, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams). Requirements & Expertise 7 years of experience in creative leadership, preferably within branding, digital design and video production. A track record of leading designers, developing strategic brand narratives, and producing standout digital campaigns. Strong expertise in visual storytelling, branding, and video production (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
