Merchandiser role

Campbells of Beauly are looking for an experienced merchandiser to join its team on a permanent basis 3-
4 days per week initially. They offer contemporary country style for men, ladies, children and home/ gifting.
As merchandiser you will be responsible for supporting with all aspects of buying and merchandising,
including running reports, setting up and maintaining products on the system, forecasting for the season
ahead, building the range and range plan.
Ideally you will have experience as a merchandiser, advanced excel skills and strong communication skills.
The role would be based in the Buying and Merchandising Office on site in Beauly.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the buying team.
Act as the main point of contact for the shop team and suppliers with any product queries.
Assist with the booking in and allocation of new stock and top up stock.
Assist with placing new orders and forecasting quantities based on growth.
Manage and maintain top up orders in particular for NOS items.
Work with buying team to build a visual range plan and continuously update the range plan.
Assist with Photoshoot prep and preparing a shoot list for each shoot.
Order, chase and allocate stock required for photoshoot.
Support in the management of the department critical path with the cross functional counterparts to
ensure timely delivery of the product.
Managing shipment (checking ex-factory dates are on time, volume discrepancies, gold seal
inspections completed, packing lists entered).
Ensure that delivery invoices are checked against the order, and then loaded onto Dext correctly.
Daily communication with suppliers, factories, agents/ mills as well as liaison with internal
departments.
Manage barcodes and special tickets requirements with suppliers and the warehouse.
Manage labelling requirements with suppliers and the warehouse.
Supplier analysis for end of season reviews
Create necessary trading reports to support overview of performance weekly/ monthly/ seasonal. Ad
hoc.
