Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive looking to progress your career with a leading regional law firm? Our client, a highly regarded practice in Devon, is seeking a skilled lawyer to strengthen its expanding Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload covering all aspects of wills, probate, trusts, tax planning and Court of Protection work.
The Role:
You will manage a broad portfolio of private client matters, including:
Drafting wills and advising on estate planning strategies
Setting up and administering trusts and inheritance tax planning
Preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney
Court of Protection applications and elderly client services
Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate issues
As you develop, you will have the chance to take on more sophisticated and high-value matters
About You:
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ PQE in Private Client law
Strong knowledge of probate, tax and trusts, with excellent client care skills
A STEP qualification is advantageous, but not essential – full funding and study support is offered
Based in, or able to commute to, Exeter, East Devon, or nearby areas
