Job Title: Ride-on Mower Driver
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Initially 3 months with the potential to turn permanent depending upon performance
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 3:00pm, 36.25 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour
Role Purpose
To operate Toro LT3000 ride‑on mowers to maintain grassed areas to a high standard while supporting wider grounds tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Toro LT3000 ride‑on mowers across multiple sites.
Perform daily checks and report machine issues.
Keep equipment clean and assist with basic maintenance.
Follow mowing routes and complete tasks efficiently.
Work safely around the public and colleagues.
Support general grounds tasks: strimming, hedge cutting, litter control.
Comply with all safety rules and wear correct PPE.Essential Skills & Experience
Experience operating ride‑on mowers, ideally Toro LT3000 or similar.
Knowledge of safe machinery operation.
Able to work independently and manage workload.
