We are currently recruiting for Consultants in Acute Medicine. The Acute Care Consultant plays a pivotal role in the department, providing both clinical and team leadership. The successful candidate will work as part of a team comprising Higher Specialty trainees, Middle Grades, ACPs, Junior Doctors (GPVTS, FY2s, FY1s), and a skilled nursing team.
Applicants with specialist training in another specialty and an interest in Acute Medicine will also be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates with a specialist interest in ultrasound-guided procedures, or with experience in ITU or Respiratory Medicine, as we are developing an enhanced care unit in AMU. We support the career development of those wishing to expand their specialty interests alongside Acute Medicine.
