Job Overview
Location: Bath, BA2. Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Contract: Temporary with the view to go permanent. This role supports mental health and mild learning difficulties (MLD) in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1-1 support to individuals with MLD, adapting approach to meet their unique needs and goals.
* Offer general classroom support, assisting with creation and maintenance of a supportive learning environment.
* Promote mental well‑being by providing empathetic support and encouraging self‑esteem and independence.
* Monitor and report progress of individuals, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reviews and assessments.
* Assist with development and use of appropriate resources and materials to support learning and development.
Requirements
* Experience supporting individuals with SEND/SEMH.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and staff.
* A compassionate and patient approach, committed to promoting dignity and independence.
* Ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and subject to enhanced DBS checks.

Additional Information
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm. Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Pay: £14+ per hour or £92 per day. This role is temporary with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
