Our client is a well-respected defendant law firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting a Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester or Birmingham offices. Applicants must be qualified solicitors with a minimum of 1+ year PQE in motor injuries. Previous supervisory experience is required. A verypetitive salary up to £50,000 is available dependent on experience.
Your new role
This Motor Injury Supervisor role will see you:
1. Manage a reduced caseload of motor injury claims, including litigated fast‑track personal injury files and small claims, often arising from road traffic accidents
2. Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to junior fee‑earners, ensuring high-quality technical work and consistent development.
3. Navigate and apply civil court procedures (CPR) effectively within litigation strategy.
4. Utilise strong knowledge of the MOJ Portal and OIC processes in progressing claims.
5. Work independently to manage deadlines andpeting priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
6. Deliver excellentmunication and client care to insurer clients, self‑insureds andmercial organisations.
7. Use case management systems and IT tools effectively to maintain accurate and efficient file progression.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with full litigation rights (Essential)
9. Experience handling litigated fast‑track personal injury and small claims, particularly RTA-related.
10. Defendant personal injury experience (preferable)
11. Strong understanding of court procedures, CPR, MOJ and OIC processes.
12. Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or paralegals.
13. Strong organisational,munication and client relationship skills.
14. Proficiency with legal IT systems and case management technologies
