We are looking for a
n experienced and approachable Research Administrator to join the Research Office at Saïd Business School. This role provides essential administrative support to the School’s vibrant research community and plays an important part in enabling research excellence. This role will support the post-award administration of a portfolio of the School’s research centres, initiatives and projects. Working within a developing matrix structure, the post-holder will collaborate closely with the Research and Impact Facilitator and colleagues across the wider Research Office, Faculty Services teams and the University. Key responsibilities Provide timely administrative support across a wide range of research processes, prioritising tasks and resolving day-to-day issues effectively. Organise research-related activities including meetings, conferences and workshops. Arrange travel and visitor logistics, including complex travel and visa arrangements. Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, grant documentation and project materials. Maintain financial records and monitor project expenditures in line with grant terms and conditions. You will have proven experience in administrative support, ideally within a research or academic environment, along with excellent organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
