Overview
We are a small, friendly GP surgery seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This part‑time role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
Responsibilities
* Greeting and directing patients
* Managing the appointment system and booking appointments
* Processing patient information and assisting as required
* Acting as the central point of contact for patients
* Distributing information, messages and enquiries to the clinical team
* Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers
Qualifications
* Experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a healthcare setting
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to use appointment software and general IT proficiency
