JAB Recruitment are currently looking for 2 x Principal Instrument Engineers for an Aberdeen based Client. Immediate starts.
These are contract roles with LTD and PAYE considered.
Both roles are Project based in the City Centre, for minimum of 4 months.
Hybrid (WFH Monday and Friday)
The roles are with the end Client for SVT and for a Decommissioning Project.
The role
Supporting the construction output on project, duties include liaising with the client and conducting meetings to understand the requirements and working with them to provide safe and efficient solutions.
•Review constructability of project plans and individual work packs
•Identify where efficiencies can be made in the project execution
•Interface between Client construction team and client construction management
•Manage and challenge client expectations in the planning and execution of project
•Review construction work pack, remedial, small scopes & CCHP’s as defined in the client scope of work and to meet requirements.? Fully responsible for the quality of information in work packs.
•Liaise with construction team, to collate a work pack suitable for executing the detailed work scope.
•Ensuring adequate information is available to construction team to undertake planned project construction tasks.
•Reviewing trade mix requirements and durations to assist with long term planning on assets – to determine most cost effective and optimal trade mix.
•Role has no direct reports
•Role must share findings and learning with the Client construction manager
