Morson Talent has an exciting opportunity for a Rebuild Planner within the Logistics team at the Typhoon Maintenance Facility for our prestigious client. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a busy logistics environment, preferably within a military setting.
The role involves controlling and accounting for high-value aircraft spares, requiring strict attention to detail, especially when handling classified equipment.
The scope covers all aspects of physical logistics, including goods inward, issue to customers, and returning unserviceable equipment for repair within the reverse supply chain. As a team player, you should have tact and diplomacy when dealing with colleagues and customers. Personal standards should include strong time management skills and professional attitude and behavior.
This role requires experience with the Military toolset MJDI, and familiarity with this system is essential.
Job Description
Responsible for controlling, accounting, and movement of assets throughout aircraft maintenance, from goods inward to delivery against schedules. Inventory controllers manage spares for Typhoon aircraft in maintenance, ensuring all issues are recorded, and processes are followed for serviceable and unserviceable equipment. Accurate data input into manual and electronic registers is critical in this demanding environment, with task prioritization essential. All processes are governed by strict Mil Part 145 legislation.
* Register all assets received or dispatched through TMF Logistics regulator.
* Physically control all aircraft spares.
* Update TMF logs and IMS systems for all transactions.
* Report potential issues immediately to enable alternative demand solutions.
* Control aircraft spares through regulators and VSU's according to regulations.
* Perform MJDI inventory transfers and Maintenix transactions per business process.
* Night shifts are required, and additional tasks may be assigned as needed, subject to qualifications.

* Ensure daily tasks are completed promptly to meet priorities.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify and report opportunities and threats.
Essential / Desirable Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills for communication at all levels.
* Knowledge and understanding of RAF Supply Chain (desirable).
* Understanding of logistics operational issues and timely spares delivery.
* Knowledge of challenges facing TyTAN, including Bank of Hours recovery.
* Understanding of TyTAN's role in supporting the contract.
* Ability to work independently, proactively, and with good time management.
* Effective communication skills.
* IT literate and numerate.
* Knowledge of Mil Pt145 / Pt M regulations.
* Proficient in RAF Logistics MJDI system (essential).
* Knowledge of IMS and Supply Chain IT systems.
* Ability to meet business needs in quantity, quality, and schedule.
* Willingness to work shift hours on base, 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), around core hours (7:30 am – 4:30 pm Mon-Thu, 7:30 am – 12 pm Fri), totaling 37 hours per week unless stated otherwise.
