The Opportunity:
This newly created Head of Clinical Negligence position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead, shape, and grow a brand-new department within an established and supportive legal practice based in Lancashire. The firm has strong infrastructure, a collaborative culture, and a clear strategic vision, and is now looking for an ambitious clinical negligence specialist to drive this new initiative forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the Clinical Negligence department from inception
- Build and manage a caseload of high-quality clinical negligence matters
- Develop internal processes, workflows, and team structures
- Contribute to the firm's wider business development and strategic growth
- Recruit and mentor junior lawyers and support staff as the department grows
About You:
- 8+ years’ PQE with strong experience in Clinical Negligence
- Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently
- Strong leadership or team-building experience
- Commercial awareness and a desire to play a key role in firm-wide growth
- Confident communicator and relationship-builder
