We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our purchasing, inventory, and logistics functions. This is a hands‑on role where you will ensure materials and products are delivered on time, optimise stock levels, and manage supplier performance to support our production and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic and operational procurement activities
* Source materials at the best cost, quality, and delivery
* Negotiate and manage supplier contracts; conduct audits and evaluations
* Oversee the Company's Stores Department and reduce stock holdings
* Produce monthly stock and supplier reconciliation reports
* Collaborate with Production and Contract Managers on supply forecasts
* Drive continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processes
* Manage, train, and mentor the Procurement & Stores team
About You
* Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong negotiation, supplier management, and interpersonal skills.
* Good knowledge of purchasing contracts, terms, and conditions.
* Proficient with standard IT and procurement software.
* Professional purchasing qualification (CIPS) or willingness to undertake.
Qualifications
* HNC or equivalent essential; Degree desirable.
* Professional purchasing qualification preferred.
