As a Pastoral Manager, you will lead initiatives that support students’ wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure learners receive the guidance and care they need to thrive. Main Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the pastoral care of students across the school. Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to students facing personal or behavioural challenges. Monitor attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing, implementing strategies to improve outcomes. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development. Maintain records and report on student progress to senior staff. Requirements of Pastoral Manager: Previous experience in pastoral care, mentoring, or education support roles. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support students with a variety of needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusive practice.
