Farm Stockworker - Malton
The Role
Starting at £11.75 Per Hour rising to £11.95 Per Hour after probation.
Hours of work - Monday to Wednesday 7am to 4pm (approx). Thursday 4am to 1pm ( approx) (every 3 weeks). Friday 7am to 3pm. (Some weekend work is required on a rota basis).
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our team at our farm at East Knapton, near Malton. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in the industry however if you love working outdoors and have an interest in agriculture this could be the perfect job for you – full training will be provided.
You will need to be happy to work outside, and in all weathers
You will need to have your own transport as our farms are on remote sites away from any town centre.

Key Accountabilities
Job duties include;
1. Day to day tasks relating to feeding, bedding, movement of animals and general animal husbandry/Welfare.
2. Feed management.
3. Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
4. Maintaining safe working practices.
Skills and Experience Required
Some agriculture experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
