ER Specialist (You must have extensive employee relations experience)
Location: Luton
Type: Hybrid, Salary: 40K
Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is looking for an ER Partner to join their growing team. The role involves providing customer-focused, responsive, accurate, and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, employees, and flexible workers, in line with company policies, internal procedures, and legal requirements.
The Business
* Acts as an ambassador of the Group, aligning with company culture and values.
* Understands the company's brands and offerings.
* Delivers first-class advisory services on employment and employee relations matters.
* Provides positive customer experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Advice and Guidance:
* Advise managers on Employee Relations issues, ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, and legislation.
* Manage cases related to disciplinaries, performance, grievances, absence, TUPE, redundancy, etc.
* Build effective relationships to promote good employee relations.
* Support client calls and HR queries as needed.
* Maintain and develop policies and guidelines.
* Coordinate with Payroll and HR Admin teams.
Case Management:
* Handle Employee Relations cases end-to-end, including drafting letters and documents.
* Manage ACAS early conciliation cases and occupational health referrals.
Technology and HR Systems:
* Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports.
* Ensure case records are up-to-date and compliant with GDPR.
Relationship Management:
* Develop collaborative relationships with managers and HR partners.
Change Management:
* Support organizational change initiatives and advise managers on employment law implications.
Projects:
* Contribute to departmental objectives and review employee relations materials.
Experience and Skills
* HR advisory background with strong Employee Relations and Employment Legislation knowledge.
* Experience managing Employee Relations cases from start to finish.
* Strong understanding of employment law, GDPR, and HR systems.
* Excellent organizational, judgment, and decision-making skills.
* Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
* Experience in corporate or professional services sectors.
* Knowledge of TUPE and redundancy processes.
