Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, and possess strong communication skills. This role is essential in helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
* Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
* Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and feedback on sessions.
* Collaborate with other educators or specialists, particularly in special education settings, to support diverse learning needs.
Requirements
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of various ages.
* Strong understanding of educational principles and practices, including special education methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically.
* Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
